- A deposit of £40 is required to hold your place and is not refundable if cancellations fall within 48 hours of your booking.

- You must be aged 18+ to attend our headshot studio sessions.
​
Anyone under the age of 18 is welcome to attend but MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian or appropriate responsible adult over the age of 18 who will be asked to sign a consent form. If you have any further questions about this please feel free to get in touch.
Please do not be offended if we ask to see proof of age. This is an important part of our thorough commitment to our safeguarding & privacy policies.
FAQ's

When will I pay the deposit?
The deposit should be paid upon receipt of your booking confirmation from The Ten.

When will I pay the outstanding balance?
The outstanding balance will be sent to you via electronic invoice immediately after your session has finished and is to be paid as soon as possible so that we can start your edits. If you have asked for a payment plan to be actioned, we will send an invoice with the appropriate amounts at the arranged time frames.

How will I receive my images for selection?
After your session you will receive your images via an online gallery for browsing and selection.
Please choose your final choices in line with the number offered in the package you booked (excluding any promotions) and email your image numbers (eg. IMG_8750) to us. We will then get to work.

When will I receive my final retouched images?
We aim to get your images back to you with 10 days of your session. Please note that during certain busy industry periods this may take up to 14 days but in this situation e will do our best to communicate this fully.
If you are working toward specific deadlines please let us know when booking.

What do I do if I want further changes to the retouches?
That is fine. Please let us know any specifics in as much detail as possible and we will endeavour to get this turned around for you.

Can I book additional retouched images after the shoot?
Yes. We keep all of your images on file for 12 months allowing you time to return for any additional retouched images. These will be charged at £25 per image. Unfortunately a payment plan cannot be applied to these unless you are ordering more than 3 extra images.

​How can I best recommend The Ten's services?
At The Ten we massively rely on good word-of-mouth to spread the benefits of our affordable and accessible initiatives to artists who could profit from them. If you have enjoyed your session and are happy with your final images please feel free to do this by any means comfortable for you.
After your session we will supply you with a PPP (post photo post) which can be easily saved and posted on social media platforms if you feel comfortable sharing.

What do I do if I need to rearrange or cancel my session?
Your session can be rearranged or cancelled up to 48 hours before the shoot without losing your deposit.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in and something which reflects you, your personality and the types of roles you want to be considered for.
​

Feel free to bring a few options to try different things.
​
As a tip...Something plain and neutral is always good. Try to avoid super complex patterns as they can sometimes be distracting. If you have them...we suggest a couple of bright options, a couple of monotone (white/grey/black) and maybe a couple of softer pastel colours. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable.

Can you airbrush in the retouches?
​
We are able to airbrush anything you want to specifically address however our advice is that your headshots should look as much like the real you as possible.
The casting director is expecting to see the real you! When you arrive for an audition they want to see you exactly as you appear in the photo they chose you from, so we recommend you keep major airbrushing to a minimal and only if absolutely necessary.

Who should I credit when posting my photographs.
​
Although its always nice and appreciated to be credited when you post images on your socials, this is always at your own discretion and never compulsory.
​
For more formal publications such as Spotlight/Press/Media you will usually be asked to credit the photographer.
​
Please credit all images in this instance using The Ten.
​

How do I pay you?
​
You will recieve two invoices from us: one for your booking deposit and one for your final outstanding payment.
These can be paid by bank transfer using the payment details on the invoice.

If you would prefer to pay in cash on the day that is fine. We will provide you with a receipt for your financial records.
